We know from experience what it's like to use bad knives.
Cosmin lives in the kitchen; cooking is how he ends the day. Daniel lives in the mountains; the outdoors is his second home. Different passions, the same problem: knives that go blunt after a month, rust in the drawer, or give up on you right when you need them.
That's why we started DACOBI in 2021: two passions that needed the right tools. Now we're the ones offering the answer, through the brand we built: proper professional knives for the kitchen and for the outdoors, at a fair price.
We don't have 200 years of history and we don't pretend to. What we do have is over 40,000 customers who have put our knives to work for real, and one rule we've never bent: we don't ship a single product we don't believe in ourselves.

We design every DACOBI knife down to the last detail: shape, geometry, handle, balance. We work with partner factories that make them exactly to our specifications. Then we test them ourselves before they reach you.
